Hear from Our Customers
Picture yourself moving with confidence at your wedding reception or social event. No more standing on the sidelines or feeling awkward when the music starts. You’ll know exactly what to do with your feet, your hands, and how to connect with your partner.
Our students tell us the same thing after just a few lessons – they can’t wait to show off what they’ve learned. Whether you’re preparing for your first dance as newlyweds or want to surprise friends at the next gathering, you’ll have the skills and confidence to make it memorable.
The best part? You’ll enjoy the process. Learning to dance becomes something you look forward to, not something you dread.
We’ve been helping Copiague Harbor residents overcome their dance floor fears for years. We know you’re probably thinking “I have two left feet” or “I’ll never look graceful.” We’ve heard it all before – and we’ve proven it wrong every time.
Our instructors specialize in working with complete beginners and nervous couples. We’ve choreographed first dances for couples who swore they’d never be able to dance, and watched them surprise their entire wedding party. We’ve helped shy individuals find their confidence in group classes.
Located in Suffolk County, we understand the local community’s needs. Whether you’re planning a wedding at a local venue or just want to feel more comfortable at social events around Long Island, we’ll get you there.
First, we start with a consultation to understand your goals and timeline. Are you preparing for a wedding? Want to learn for social events? Looking for a fun date activity? We tailor everything to what you actually need.
Next, we create your personalized curriculum. If you’re wedding-bound, we’ll work with your song choice and create choreography that matches your style – whether that’s elegant and traditional or fun and contemporary. For social dancing, we focus on the foundational steps that work at any event.
During lessons, we break everything down into manageable pieces. No overwhelming routines or complex moves until you’re ready. We focus on connection, timing, and building your confidence gradually. You’ll practice what you learn, get immediate feedback, and see real progress each session.

Your dance classes include personalized instruction tailored to your specific needs and timeline. We offer both private lessons for focused, one-on-one attention and group classes for those who enjoy learning with others. You’ll get access to our professional-grade studio space with proper flooring and sound systems.
For wedding couples in Copiague Harbor, we provide custom choreography to your chosen song, whether you want something simple and elegant or more elaborate. We work around your busy wedding planning schedule with flexible appointment times, including evenings and weekends.
Suffolk County couples particularly appreciate our realistic approach – we’re not trying to turn you into professional dancers overnight. We focus on creating something beautiful and achievable that reflects your personality as a couple. Many of our local clients continue with social dancing after their weddings, joining our group classes and practice sessions.
Most couples need 4-6 private lessons to feel confident with a 3-4 minute wedding song, but it depends on your goals and experience level. If you want something simple and sweet, we can create a beautiful first dance in 3-4 sessions. For more elaborate choreography or if you’re complete beginners, plan for 6-8 lessons.
We typically recommend starting 2-3 months before your wedding to avoid last-minute stress. This gives us time to perfect the routine and lets you practice until it feels natural. Remember, your wedding day will have enough nerves – your first dance shouldn’t add to them.
Absolutely not. Most of our students are complete beginners who’ve never taken a dance class in their lives. We specialize in working with people who think they “can’t dance” or have “no rhythm.” That’s exactly who we’re here to help.
We start with the absolute basics – how to stand, how to hold each other, and simple weight shifts. Everything builds from there at your pace. Our instructors are experts at breaking down complex movements into simple, manageable steps. If you can walk, you can learn to dance with us.
The key is patience with yourself and trusting the process. We’ve successfully taught couples where one partner was convinced they’d never learn, and they ended up loving their first dance.
We teach all the popular ballroom and Latin styles including Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Rumba, Cha-Cha, and Salsa. For wedding couples, we work with whatever song you’ve chosen – whether it calls for a romantic Waltz, a fun Swing dance, or something more contemporary.
Social dancers love our variety because you’ll be prepared for any type of music at events. We also offer group classes that rotate through different styles monthly, so you can explore what you enjoy most. Many students start with one style for their wedding and then branch out to others for fun.
If you have a specific song or style in mind, let us know during your consultation. We’re experienced in adapting choreography to match the music and your comfort level.
Private lesson packages typically range from $75-120 per session depending on the instructor and package size. We offer flexible payment options and don’t require you to purchase large, expensive packages upfront like some studios do. You can pay as you go or buy small packages that make sense for your budget.
Group classes are more affordable, usually $15-25 per class, and are perfect for ongoing social dancing after your wedding or event. We also offer consultation sessions where we can discuss your specific needs and recommend the most cost-effective approach for your goals.
Wedding couples often find that 4-6 private lessons plus a few practice sessions give them exactly what they need without breaking the budget. We’re upfront about costs and will never pressure you into expensive packages.
Yes, absolutely. Many of our students come to us as individuals, and we welcome singles in both private lessons and group classes. Our instructors are skilled at teaching you to dance with different partners, and in group classes, we rotate partners so everyone gets practice with different people.
For private lessons, your instructor will dance with you to teach proper technique and connection. This is actually beneficial because you’ll learn correct form from the start. In group settings, you’ll meet other dancers and often form practice partnerships or friendships.
Single dancers often find our community very welcoming. Many of our regular students started as individuals and now have a whole network of dance friends. It’s a great way to meet people who share your interests while learning a valuable social skill.
Wear comfortable clothes you can move in easily – nothing too tight or restrictive. For women, a skirt or dress that allows you to take steps freely works well, or comfortable pants. Men should wear dress pants or slacks, nothing too baggy. Avoid jeans if possible as they can be restrictive.
For shoes, women should wear heels similar to what you’ll wear at your event, but make sure they’re comfortable and secure on your feet. Men should wear dress shoes with leather or suede soles – sneakers can stick to the floor and make turning difficult.
Don’t worry about buying special dance shoes right away. We’ll let you know if they’d be helpful as you progress. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and can move freely. We want you focused on learning, not adjusting your outfit.
